So far, Haim Outmezgine’s claims have not been disputed, and would require more details about location to investigate specifically. His accounts do not contain outrageously false claims, unlike some of his colleagues. However, he draws conclusions well beyond his purview and admits to “misinterpretations”.

ZAKA is not a trustworthy source for allegations of sexual violence on October 7
Otmezgin is a reserve soldier in the Israeli army and the owner of a human resources company. His name appeared in the press earlier this year after his participation in the Israeli rescue team following the earthquake in Turkey. Upon his return, Turkish authorities opened an investigation against him, accusing him of stealing and smuggling from Turkey into Israel an antique manuscript from “the Book of Esther” found under the rubble.
It was clear they were trying to spread as much horror as they could — to kill, to burn alive, to rape,” said Haim Outmezgine, a senior member of ZAKA rescue services, which has been working around the clock collecting the remains of the dead. “It seemed their mission was to rape as many [people] as possible.”
Graphic report details new evidence of rape, sexual violence during October 7 rampage
The world must know: Testimonies of Hamas' acts of rape on October 7th
We reach road 234, and there… I see the first evidence of sexual abuse. I arrive at an orchard, I see three bodies, two women, one man. One of them is bare-chested, her shirt ripped, stretched, as well as what’s underneath that. And… short pants stretched upwards like underwear, shot in the groin. I was the first to reach these bodies. No one touched them after that. My eyes met theirs, immediately after the incident. My ears heard the silence that shouted, “We have been humiliated.”
This description almost perfectly matches a video released shortly after October 7.

This video shows a woman with what looks like a torn shirt “ripped / stretched”. For a highly religious and conservative ZAKA volunteer, it would not be abnormal for her to be considered “bare chested”. Her shorts resemble Haim’s description: “stretched upwards like underwear”. And although it is difficult from the video to see where she was shot, the blood near her groin suggests she may have been shot in the crotch.
The video shows two dead woman and a man exactly as he describes and the location also matches The location, on the side of the road matches his description.
I continue, reaching one of the kibbutzim. We see a breached safe-room door, that was forced open. We see two women shot, on the floor. We look in the room across, we see a young girl on the bed, without pants or underwear, also shot in the head.
This is almost certainly a reference to the Sharabi family, killed in Be’eri. Namely, because the same story is relayed by Simcha Greinman of ZAKA on October 26.
There was a mother (Lianne) and daughter (Yahel) killed in a bedroom together. However, it’s strange that Outmezgine describes the scene the way he did given Lianne was so badly burnt they could only identify her from her teeth. It’s hard to imagine with that level of burning that one could tell the state of pants on another person in the room. As for Yahel’s sister, Noya, the third girl from the story, she was only found three days later and It would have been impossible for him to see all three of these bodies at the same time as he describes.
I’ll skip a few days, and talk about another kibbutz [i.e. not Be’eri]. I told the volunteers, “There is a soul here shouting, ZAKA come here.” We start peeling the stones and the shards of destruction that were there. We expose a foot, we follow it, and uncover the body of a completely naked woman. We saw a woman… [gestures sawing motion at top of breast]… who was cut from here in the breast. It doesn’t take a second. It’s not easy to cut a body. This is someone who did this… and didn’t stop until he perpetuated the desecration of the body.
